INTRO TO EPISODE:
Welcome back, Health Investor!
Boy, do I have a treat for you today!
When Dr. Trevor Cates agreed to be on my podcast, I just about fell out of my chair.
I’ve been following her work for several years now, so she’s a celebrity to me—and I know you’re gonna be JUST as obsessed with her work as I am after you hear this episode!
I initially found Dr. Cates—or, as she calls herself, “The Spa Doctor”—through a podcast, which prompted me to buy her book Clean Skin from Within.
In the book, she shares a detailed, customizable 2-week program to transform your skin from the inside out, including recipes for skin-perfecting food and drinks and DIY skin care products.
When I purchased the book, I’d never considered the fact that the things I was eating and the products I was putting on my skin may actually be worsening my breakouts.
But, as Dr. Cates explains, common skin conditions like acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis are often cleared up when treated through a holistic approach.
Even if you’re not suffering from an extreme skin condition, you’re gonna want to hear what Dr. Cates has to say. Her thoughts about adopting a cleaner, healthier lifestyle are ideas everyone should hear!
Quickly, I wanna share an Apple Podcast review.
Common Sense Ideas [very practical name!] rated The Health Investment Podcast 5 stars and wrote:
Very informative. Who knew the roll of bread in restaurants was to increase your hunger to encourage ordering more. Done with bread from now on which will save bread (the green kind)!

Thanks for your feedback, Common Sense Ideas! Every single written review is SO helpful—which is why I like to do these shout outs! If you haven’t already, write a written review and I’ll shout YOU out on a future episode!
Okay, it’s time to hear from Dr. Cates—I still can’t believe I got to chat with her! Enjoy…
