As you probably know, I’m a huuuuuge believer in the power of “intermittent fasting”; I engage in a 12-16 hour fast most days of the week.

Now, I’m a fan of fasting, but I’m no doctor. That’s why I was THRILLED when fasting proponent and physician Cecily Ganheart—aka “The Fasting Doctor”!—agreed to chat with me!

As you’ll see, Dr. Cecily has a very unique perspective on fasting. She debunks a lot of fasting myths and even reframes the terminology. From here on out, I’ll think of intermittent fasting as “gut rest,” as she calls it—you’ll see why!
