Today, you’re going to hear from Dr. Stewart Lonky.
Stewart Lonky is an accomplished medical doctor, clinical researcher, and author.
He’s triple board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonology and critical care medicine, and a recognized expert in the related fields of preventive medicine and environmental toxicology—and its associated diseases.
Dr. Lonky is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, along with being a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the California Lung Association, the New York Academy of Science, the American Thoracic Society and the American Federation for Clinical Research.
Dr. Lonky is known for his cutting edge research into the causes, treatment, and prevention of toxic chemical exposures and heralded for his in-depth knowledge of obesity’s biological, environmental, and social influences, which are the subject of his book Invisible Killers.
He resides and practices in Los Angeles, California.
As you know, I’ve chatted with numerous medical doctors here on The Health Investment Podcast—but today’s interview is really unique. Dr. Lonky’s expertise in biotoxicity AND obesity really give him a rare and important perspective on health, especially the small choices we can make in our daily lives to not only reduce our exposure to potentially harmful toxins, but also to lose weight and actually keep it off.
