INTRO TO EPISODE:

Hello, Health Investor!

Welcome back to another episode of The Health Investment Podcast!

Today, you’re going to hear from Dr. Ellen Vora.

Ellen Vora, MD, graduated from Columbia University medical school, received her B.A. in English from Yale University, and she’s a board-certified psychiatrist, medical acupuncturist, and yoga teacher. Dr. Vora takes a functional medicine approach to mental health—considering the whole person and addressing imbalance at the root, rather than reflexively prescribing medication. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Vora is also a writer, speaker, and a consultant for healthcare startups.

In the episode, Dr. Vora shares why GABA, Melatonin, & Vitamin D are “the endangered species of modern life”; common roots of anxiety; realistic, effective ways to manage chronic stress, and more. She also answers some questions from Instagram—all of which were real humdingers!

If you love what you hear in today’s episode, I’d SO appreciate it if you’d pass it along to a friend, family member, or coworker! I’m super grateful for your help in spreading the word about The Health Investment Podcast!

Okay, it’s time to hear from Dr. Vora…enjoy!
